A natural mauve spinel from Myanmar, cut in an emerald cut with a muted blend of violet, rose and smoky grey. The step-cut facets hold the colour in broad planes, giving the stone a quiet depth that shifts between soft and inky depending on the light.

Part of Studio Stones, this spinel is offered as the starting point for a semi-custom Gabriella Luchini piece. Its restrained colour, geometric shape and durability make it well suited to either a ring or pendant designed to keep the stone at the centre.
